Life.Is.Crazy

Again, a two month delay...wow, life has been crazy. I hate to say it but we have been enjoying life with our little man too much to stop for the internet most nights. But don't feel neglicted...I just downloaded a ton of photos from my camera to share!! YAY!

First, a little update. Drake is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Each day he simply amazes both Nate and I. He has such a sweet and funny personality developing.
Now, don't get me wrong, he has his fussy moments where he won't stop crying but we've seen much worse. He smiles and laughs and plays with all kinds of toys. He is getting ready to cut his first tooth. He has actually been drooling like he's teething for almost 2 months! But, the bump is up this week so hopefully soon we will see his first tooth!
He LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
His morning routine is get up, make Mommy a stink bomb, get dressed, watch Mickey while I get dressed and make his bottle. He watches all cartoons but actually gets excited and will fight to watch Mickey while eating "breakfast."

He LOVES bathtime!
He has always enjoyed being in the tub but now he can sit up on his own, pull toys towards himself with both hands and make huge splashes - which he finds hilarious when Mommy and Daddy get wet. He also really likes rubber duckies ;)

He LOVES Mrs. Casey at daycare. He has a well defined favorite 'teacher' at daycare. She started working there after he started going to daycare and once they clicked, his demeanor at daycare changed and he started to enjoy it. The other teachers say that Mrs Casey spoils him but, if you could see the smile on his face when he sees her, it would melt your heart in a second.
(10/25/09)
He doesn't yet LOVE eating cereal but I have a feeling he will soon. This is him at 4months (Oct 24th) getting his first taste of rice cereal.

He LOVES to roll over on his tummy! He wakes up like this most mornings.
(11/27/09)
However, he hasn't figured out how to roll back over on his back so we wake up multiple times a night to roll him back on his back and for late night feedings now that he is getting cereal during the day his daytime formula intake is going down.

He LOVES his little car walker. Yup, he's only 5 months old and he can FLY around the kitchen and dining room.
(11/30/09 chewing on his baby tooth"brush")
And don't put it past him to slam into your toes and then throw his arms up to pick him up and love on him (while your toes are throbbing in pain!)

I can think of a hundred more things to share but I need to go make bottles for daycare tomorrow and shower.
He LOVES his exersaucer! He can play and play and play with all the toys. Here he is back in Sept (9/23) at 3mo in the exersaucer...
We recently got a pocket camcorder. Here is a video from earlier tonight!
