A whole month without a post...can you tell life has been busy??

Really quick, we are doing well! Drake is growing like crazy and we've been busy trying to figure our little man out. He's really been quite a good baby. He has a few hours of fussy time in the afternoon but we can get him to sleep MOST of the night - 11pm(ish) until 6am(ish) - most days of the week. I'm tired but wanted to share a quick video I had updated a few days ago...

I have like 30 pictures to share but it's late and I NEED sleep but since I can get the photo uploader thingie working now...here are a few more pictures. We are all doing well and trying to rest up and recover. Here are a few pictures of our little guy's first few days. More pictures and info to come later but we wanted to get something out there for you to see! Thanks to everyone for all their support and love!

Almost There!!!

It's a few days late but I wanted to share a quick update about our progress thus far. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant which means our baby is term and could come any day now!!! We are excited! We went to the doctor on Monday for a checkup and heard Little Bit's heartbeat. Sounded good at about 145bpm. I was about 1 cm dilated so we've got a ways to go but the doctor said he's still head down and in position for his grand entrance!
I'm still having really bad sciatic back pains and can't stand up straight for more than about 5 minutes before I have to sit down or lay down. Laying down feel best but I have the energy to do things now so it's been a trying week of desire to get things done vs. resting like my body is telling me. Here's a pic of what our little guy likely looks like at this point:
Space is tight and I'm rather uncomfortable but it's tolerable. I'm not sure how mama-to-be of twins, like sister-in-law Ashley, did it!?

OH! I haven't taken any pictures of the whole nursery but I wanted to share our absolutely AMAZING mural. Without further ado....

My dear friend Hilary painted this for Little Bit back in April!! I sent her this picture of the bedding and she showed up on Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning...DONE! It is SOOO cute and perfect for the room! Thank you Hilary!! If anyone is looking for a great mural artist near Greensboro...check her out!!

I will try to put some more pictures up of the nursery after LB's arrival but right now all photos have been dumped onto the laptop and the camera is in the bag ready to head to the hospital! :)
